<br> Mr. Gailey’s confession about not expecting the Clintons' “soap-opera lives” to figure into the 2008 presidential campaign is intellectually dishonest.  The Clintons' extremely checkered past cannot be ignored and will most likely be the millstone that holds Hillary back from ever really contending.  Especially when you consider that she lacks Bill’s ability to feign warmth, compassion and empathy.  Hillary’s cold, calculating demeanor and move to the center has already caused her to lose support from the extremely left leaning netroot cabal; a rehash of her conduct during Bill’s presidency will only serve to cement the distrust and hatred many voters in the middle and on the right hold for the junior carpet bagging senator from New York who clearly never would have been elected to dog catcher in Arkansas.
